day 4 March 6th 2012

Weight 12.1

Can't believe it! In 3 days I've lost 6.8lbs!

Took to Twitter with the news and got some hearty 'well dones' back!

Easier day today, no temptation from the foodstuffs in front of me as there was yesterday in the supermarket!

Had a day at home with my 10month old baby, we chilled, played, and his mulched up chicken and peach casserole did not tempt! The yoghurt did though....

Usual foods - sliced meats etc. Oh, and a couple of hard boiled eggs for snacks.

Husband was on nights which helps, as he's a real crisp fanatic, and they always tempt me...

Day 3 Monday 5th March 2012

Weight day 3 12st 4.4lb

Very difficult day today, I had to do the monthly food shopping.

With 4 children and a very hungry husband it is a long slog!

Started at 10am, got home 1.30pm and just finished putting last things away as the children got in from school.

5 and a half hours!

One trolley full at aldi, one filled and emptied at Morrison, then another filled to overflowing at Morrisons!

Crazy!

But at least i don't have to do it again until April!

Foodwise, I stuck rigidly to Dr Dukan, porridge for breakfast, a whole packet of bresaola while shopping, sliced meats for other meals and snacks.

Don't think I had quite enough fluids though...

Sunday 4 March 2012

Tuna...

Having prepared tuna mayo sandwiches for the children for tea, thought I'd have a can on its own for mine.

Bleurgh.

Won't do that again!

Children's snacks...

....are driving me to distraction!

Made some lemon cupcakes the other day....

*grabs a slice of pastrami*

Not the same...

Oops!

Just discovered can't have pickles during attack phase....

Whoops!

1st 24 hours busted, though I did lose 1.2lbs...

Day 2 March 4th 2012

Okay, so my scales managed to fail overnight!

Gah!

Damn modern battery-eating scales!

Midday brought saviours in the form of parents who'd picked me up some of those weird flat giant round batteries. You know, the ones no-one ever has, but always needs and never buys....

Phew!

Breakfast was hard on the temptation front.

Wasn't interested in the rice krispies the older 3 boys had, nor the baby porridge.

It was when the 3 year old asked for toast that I thought I may come unstuck....

I didn't do toast, but i buttered some bread for him.

He left a quarter and that nearly killed me!

All yellow and buttery, and on very fresh bread....

Normally I'd have eaten it, but no. Straight in the bin!

Is also planned to cook off some chicken breasts for dinner for the boys (husband working), bit when i went to the freezer, no chicken!

Damnit, they would have been good protein for me....

Food shopping tomorrow then!

Day 1 March 3 2012

Total spur of the moment to start today, was planning to start Monday, but Mum came over for lunch and asked if she could have boiled eggs.

She had brought dinner for the boys (mince hotpot) and I a)don't like it (hope she never reads this!) And b)was only enough for the children.

Quite fancied the idea of a couple of boiled eggs, so joined in!

I'd only had a tiny portion if museli for breakfast anyway, so why not!

Quickly shot to the shops to stock up, I bought skimmed milk, a load of pre cooked sliced ham, beef, pastrami and some eggs!
